Join us to see what all was happening at the G18 Gallery in March! We started the new month with the opening of the exhibition titled Two in One, which presents the work of two important studios of the Department of Applied Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava – the Glass Studio, led by Patrik Ill, and the S+M+L_XL – KOV A ŠPERK Studio, led by Karol Weisslechner. Two guided tours for the public were held in March. You can still see the exhibition until 20 April 2023, every Monday to Thursday, 1-6 PM.

On March 2nd, the first workshop of a series of workshops called Build it UP! on the topic of pricing was held, which was conducted by business strategist Petr Pouchlý from Court of Moravia. The aim of the project is to facilitate the entry of art and creative students into the world of entrepreneurship by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as entrepreneurs, as well as to raise students’ awareness of new and modern trends in technology and digital marketplaces. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Centre for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship UPPER. Markéta Štěpáníková, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law of MUNI.

As part of the student non-profit project Fashion Event Dotek, you could participate in a workshop on creative production with project manager Ivona Petružálková, who currently works for leading Czech magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire and others.
