Online exhibition Together: OKOLO Minute

Gallery G18 is regularly one of the venues for exhibitions within the Zlin Design Week, a project organized by the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. This year’s Zlin Design Week is taking place due to the pandemic situation online, and the Together exhibition had to be moved – to the YouTube platform.
The creative group OKOLO has prepared minute-long educational videos that show the confrontation of real objects with abstract environments. They also present their formal and functional qualities. In this project, they put their ambition in creating a comprehensive collection narrated in the language of moving images. All the videos can be viewed HERE.
Collaboration is a fundamental building block of creative production and applied art. Especially in the field of design and architecture, you practically can’t do without it and end up isolated. Design is inherently a collaborative process, in which a range of professionals from diverse artistic, technical, and purely marketing or political positions are involved in the final work.
