Build it UP! Legal aspects

Freelancing (IČO, OSVČ) and legal aspects. Does the idea of authorities and paperwork scare you? At the second workshop you will find that it is a piece of cake! JUDr. Markéta Štěpaníková, Ph.D., who works as an assistant professor at the Department of Legal Theory at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and also as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at the University of Technology in Zlin, will give you an insight into the basics of law related to creative and artistic practice, setting up a business and other scary concepts. The workshop will take place on 27 March 2023 at 4 PM in the G18 Gallery. Although the project is primarily intended for students of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, participation of students from other faculties will be welcome. THE EVENT IS FREE! Want to freelance and don’t know how to get started? We have prepared a series of Build it UP! workshops to help you enter the world of entrepreneurship. Thanks to our speakers, you will gain knowledge and skills that will definitely come in handy as a self-employed person. The project also aims to broaden students’ awareness of new and modern directions in technology and digital marketplaces. A series of five workshops focusing on specialist topics is running from March to May 2023 in partnership with the UPPER Centre for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship. The workshops will be held in the University’s G18 Gallery.
