Build it UP – NFT and Art

The third workshop in the Build it UP! series will take place on 11 April 2023 at 4 PM in the gallery.
How do art and cryptocurrencies go together? Is it just hype or is there a future in it? And how does it relate to art?
The NFT and Art workshop will explore the intersection of art and cryptocurrencies from a variety of perspectives, including technological, legal, artistic, and societal. This workshop will be led by Gabriela Borutová and Jan Zibner.
Jan is a co-founder and legal specialist at Artiffine. As a Ph.D. in IT/IP law, he focuses on licensing schemes, compliance and all legal issues related to blockchain and NFTs, both internally and at the Harvard NFT Task Force level or as a speaker. Gabriela Borutova is Sr. Program Manager at Gen, and has been working in the field for over 10 years, focusing on brand and marketing. She is interested in Metaverse issues, its application, community and general connection with web3. She is equally interested in Metaverse fashion and branding or talent support. Gabriela is also the founder of NFT Insights, an educational guild and platform for cultivating the web3 environment, and an active mentor within Femme Palette.
The event is FREE (Primarily intended for students of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, but participation of students of other faculties is also welcome)
