FMK Design and Art for Ukraine

On Thursday, 3 March, students and teachers of our faculty (FMK UTB in Zlin) launched a charity sale of design and art from their studios. The collection works through the Sebou app, from which the money goes directly to the SOS Ukraine account of People in Need. “Students and teachers sell their original photographs, prints, posters, vases and other glass objects, fashion accessories and clothing. I’m very happy that our designers have stepped up to help,” says FMK Dean Pepa Kocourek. Following the example of his students, Professor Petr Stanický, who is selling one of his prints in the collection, also joined the event. “Study of Pylons depicts the passing and perception of the world between architecture and symbol. It is a preparatory study for a realised object that will be exhibited in Coburg, Germany,” comments Petr Stanický, head of the Design Glass Studio, on the donation. You can buy works from the authors through the Sebou app and pick them up directly from the authors in Zlin, or have them delivered for free thanks to the cooperation with the Post Without Borders service.
