Join us on a Gallery Tour
On the last Saturday in August, we will set out for the fourth year of the Gallery Tour in Zlin. The walk through galleries and other interesting places in Zlin will start at the Evangelical Church in Zlin at 2 PM, from where participants will then move by bus to other places. Our gallery G18 joins the programme with a guided tour of the exhibition Strange Semester, which will take place on 29 August at 14.30.
The 2020 Summer Gallery Tour will also include a guided tour of the Tomasov Hotel with David Valůšek, and in the Kabinet T. gallery you will meet Jiří Žák, a young artist from Zlin, who has been nominated for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award this year. You can look forward to a presentation of the Zlin Architectural Manual in the Bata Housing Info Point, site-specific installations in the Komnata and GAG galleries and a musical performance by Ba:zel at the end of the event. Admission is free, no reservations are required and if you can’t make it to the church right away at 2 PM, you can join the Gallery Tour anywhere along the route.
The event takes place with the support of the City of Zlin through the project Živý Zlín.
